About us
The company
Spirits by Design was founded in 2015 by Tim Veys SC, sommelier – master distiller. It was established with the purpose of helping people get their idea in a bottle, guaranteeing quality and flavour!
It all started with the creation of the Meyer’s Gin, which has won several prices by now, and we’ve been growing ever since. Currently we’re making more than 100 beverages ranging from gin to rum to liqueurs and so on. Everything is done in house from development to production, from small batch to big volume premium beverages.
In 2018 we decided to make a change. Instead of doing everything ourselves from production to distribution, Tim partnered with Thomas from Albatross Liquors. This way our sole focus was production and Albatross Liquors was responsible for the distribution.
In 2021 there was another change. We moved into The Spirits Valley and partnered with Michiel from Tailor Taste Distillery. This way we could narrow our focus even further to export and consultancy and Tailor Taste Distillery focused on the production.
Our mission
Spirits by Design wants to be the best in (small batch) handcrafted premium spirits, ready-to-drink (RTD) and (carbonated) soft drinks (CSD).
Our vision
Spirits by Design wants to be the number one partner, in Belgium and abroad, for people who are trying to get creative ideas into a high quality, tasty liquid form. Be it alcoholic or non alcoholic.
